NYPD Red: A maniac killer targets Hollywood’s biggest stars

The way of following the story is excellent! Seeing it from the eyes of the goodies and baddies at the same time makes for a great read! I'm a sucker for a 'hook and twist' but unfortunately this didn't have much of a twist. Short of not knowing whether the goodies would win or not the ending was foreseeable. That said, it's got great action novel and I'd buy the sequel without hesitation to see where the relationships and dynamics go!

This is the first James Patterson book I have read, I had been recommended him before but never bothered. I'm very happy I finally read one of his books and I think this is a great one to get into him with. I was hooked from start to finish, so much so I barley put it down for the couple of days it took to read it while on holiday.

I enjoyed this book but got somewhat annoyed in parts at the roguesh ways of the characters. There were parts zi found funny and wondered if this was supposed to be funny. Not sure about the series but will try number two. Not as good as some of his other books.
