Spot on. A prescient book, written just in time, and came out just as the thesis plays out for all to see. Indeed, inflation comes out of both the disruptions in the materials/production supply side as well as the mismanagements of the financial side. Waiting in the horizon is deflation and demand destruction. But unless we burn the world into extinction with World War 3, civilization will recover and like the phoenix, will re-emerge out of the ashes, just as the Renaissance emerged out of the destruction of Pax Romana.
