I've found another gem of an action-thriller, and I'm so glad that I bought this book. I loved the snappy pace of the book and it's gripping plot. The author nicely weaves the tactical nous of the protagonist with the endearing bravery of his canine-partner. Although this genre of operator-animal fiction is less common, the story-telling in this book is believable and completely entertaining. After finishing this book, I immediately bought the next book in the series. I recommend this book for its entertaining story line as well as for its brilliant narrative and bond between soldier and military working dog. I'm now a big fan of James Rollins.
