About this ebook

Savvy stylist Amanda Wright loves Marietta, her hair salon, and her clients, and no client is more dear to her heart than eighty-year-old Bette Justice–even if her years have made her a little fragile. So when Bette asks Amanda to help her convince her determined grandson, Tyler, a successful game designer, that Marietta is the right home for Bette, Amanda can’t say no.

Tyler Justice has a one-track mind–he wants to take care of his beloved grandmother. He can’t understand her resistance to move to Texas and is sure that the young friend she keeps mentioning–Amanda–is taking advantage of his grandmother’s generosity. He reaches Marietta determined to put the salon owner in her place and bring his grandmother home…until smart, kind Amanda starts to tug at his heart in ways he never expected.

But just as Tyler and Amanda start to form a real connection, will a long-buried family secret destroy their chance at love?

This was a sweet small town romance that warmed my heart and left me smiling. The plot is simple but fun and I loved these characters especially Bette Justice, Ty's well meaning meddling Grandma. Maybe it's her name ;) ! Amanda is a hometown Marietta girl and happy with her choice stay right there. She loves the life she's built. It hasn't always been easy considering where she came from but she's put the past behind her and right now life is good. Tyler Justice comes to Marietta to try and convince his stubborn Grandmother to move with him to Austin. He's convinced she's being taken advantage of and he won't have it! Once he meets and gets to know Amanda he realizes he's got it all wrong. This was a great relaxing read that I'd definitely recommend to everyone.

I loved this book. “Take A Chance On Me” is book three in Jane Porter's Love On Chance Avenue series. It was a sweet story about family, love and friendship. It takes place in the small town of Marietta, Montana. You get the dynamics of small town living, neighbor helping neighbor, friends becoming closer than family and obviously your town gossips. The love and concern that Tyler showed for his grandmother Bette was heart warming. The special friendship that Bette and Amanda had formed was very special. I would have to say Bette was quit the character. She knew that Tyler and Amanda were perfect for each other and she was determined to get them together, no matter what the cost. My favorite characters and the one I could relate to most was the two Wright sisters, Amanda and Charity. I enjoyed “Take A Chance On Me” so much I need to go back and read the stories I missed. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Tule Publishing through NetGalley, Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a quick read with excellent character development and plot. I've never been to Montana, but the small town and family relationships were explained so well: I had a mental picture.
