My therapist gave me a copy of 'Adult Children of Alcoholics ' & out of All the 100s of recovery books I ever read this ONE is like the Bible of beginning recovery and helped me the MOST to understanding of why I was living such a disfunctional life!!! It helped SO MUCH to learn how to live a life with less disfuction in my actions, my relationships with others & learn to love myself with all my faults & my good qualities! I have bought over 10 copies of this book so I can reread every yrs then give them away trying to help others, the way this book has helped me! Greatful
