Shalini Bhardwaj is an Indian-born Canadian. In her poetry, she has chosen to celebrate her heritage using a mix of Hindi and Urdu for spontaneity of creative expression. She is a trained economist with an M.Phil. degree from Delhi School of Economics and currently holds the position of a Senior Advisor with the government. Shalini is a public speaker with a Distinguished Toastmaster designation. She is passionate about volunteering and has had the privilege of serving on the board of a women’s shelter. The motto of her life is empowering people to reach their fullest potential.
