While this book gives a fairly good introduction to the uninitiated as to what Steampunk is, what it does not do is what it advertises itself as.
Each jewelry piece in this book is a one of a kind work that cannot be reproduced because they are literally all based on found objects!
The pieces featured in the book are beautiful and certainly the author has a good eye for picking out the best of what's out there, but Steampunk is a DIY culture by its very nature and just being able to ooh and ahh at something someone else created doesn't do it for me.
Sorry kids, this DIY book is a DUD.
