About this ebook

A second chance beach romance where true love awaits...or does it? A standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Jean Oram.

This cowboy is hoping for a second chance...

Newly divorced Polly Morgan needs a vacation, and she's hoping some extra time in the oceanside town of Indigo Bay before her friend’s wedding will do the trick.

But she doesn’t expect to have to save the entire event alongside the man she measures all kisses against—her first love, Nick Wylder.

Nick hasn’t seen Polly in almost two decades, but that doesn’t mean he’s stopped thinking about her. He’s pretty sure she feels the power of their rekindled love too, and he’s ready to make a move. To his Texas ranch, to her home in Canada—anywhere as long as she’s there.

But what will he do when his fast moves send Polly running? Can these two exes overcome their past and claim their second chance at love?

Sweet Troublemaker is such a fun story. I liked Polly and Nick. They make a great couple. I loved their banter and found myself laughing out loud quite a bit. Polly has finally managed to get her nightmare of an ex-husband to sign their divorce papers. Now she’s finally able to move on with her life but she’s lost. The Polly she use to be is buried under the Polly she became when she was married. So what better way to find yourself again than go on an adventure. Destiny has her crossing paths with Nick, the man she’s never forgotten. Both are at crossroads in their lives and looking for something more. Together they just might find it. If you like sweet romances this one is worth giving a try. I can’t wait for the next book.

This is my voluntary review of an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Polly and Nick dated as teens but haven't seen nor heard from each other since. When they accidentally meet up at Indigo Bay they easily fall back into their old friendship. He knows he wants more, but she doesn't trust herself to make the right choice . . . This is a well written sweet romance. It's obvious that some characters are from previous books, but you won't get lost if you're new to Indigo Bay.

Nick and Polly shared a teenage summer romance and twenty years has passed since they last met. They were both forced to start over, she after divorce and he after his uncle let him go after working for years as a ranch hand. Nick is a prankster. Polly had forgotten how to be something other than a trophy wife and she misses having a career and purpose in life. They meet up again in Indigo Bay for his cousin’s wedding. This was a new start in life second chance romance with plenty of humor and sweet moments.
