আদতে বহুজনের সান্নিধ্য যে মানুষকে ক্রমশ ভরিয়ে তোলে, সেকথা ছোটবড় মিলিয়ে গড়ে ওঠা নাতিদীর্ঘ গল্প সংকলনটি থেকে আবার সামনে এল। সময়ের সঙ্গে চলা লোকজনের নানা গতিভঙ্গিমা বিভিন্ন দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে অনুভব করে কিছু সরলরেখায় বেঁধে ফেলার জন্য যেটুকু আন্তরিকতা প্রয়োজন, তার ছাপ লেখাগুলিতে স্পষ্ট। দেশ-বিদেশের আঙিনায় বহমান ঘটনাবলি স্বাভাবিক জীবনের বিচিত্র জটিল চাহিদার সঙ্গে মিলেমিশেও এক আনাবিল সরলতা বজায় রাখে শেষ অবধি। বারবার জানিয়ে যায়, মানুষের কর্মময় যাপনের সক্রিয় বৃত্তে হঠাৎ এসে পড়া যেকোনো অভিঘাত, ব্যাপক অর্থে মনুষ্যত্বের স্থিতিস্থাপক অবস্থানটিকেই আরো জোরদার করে। আবার তাকে আপন ছন্দে গড়ে ওঠার জায়গাটুকু করে দেয়। প্রতিটি আখ্যানেই চরিত্রগুলি ভিন্নমাত্রার, অথচ সহজ, দৃঢ়, স্থিরসঙ্কল্প, সচল। অভিযানে শামিল হয় নিজের মতো। একবারও মনে হয় না, এটি গ্রন্থকারের প্রথম সংকলন প্রয়াস।

About the author
Ranjana Sengupta graduate in philosophy and journalism from Calcutta University. Married early in life and travelled across the country with husband for his transferable job. At each location got new friends, renewed life with lot of experiences. Later came back to Kolkata and set up own boutique designer jewellery firm. Now a member of Film Writers Association, attached with various projects. In personal life, she believes to learn and reflects those stories in natural way. From 2011, realised the essence of Buddhism. Attached with Soka Gakkai International, guided by Nichiren Daishanin. Working for men and women in general to make them cheerful.
