Jeff Cavins served as a Protestant minister for twelve years before returning to the Catholic faith. His story is chronicled in his autobiography, My Life on the Rock (Ascension Press). Jeff is best-known as the founding host of the popular EWTN television program Life on the Rock. With Matthew Pinto, he is the co-creator of the Amazing Grace series, and is the author of Iím Not Being Fed: Discovering the Food that Satisfies the Soul (Ascension, 2005). Jeff is also the creator and principal author of The Great Adventure, a popular Bible study program. He and his wife, Emily, reside in Minnesota with their three daughters.
Matthew Pinto is the author of the best-selling question-and-answer book Did Adam & Eve Have Belly Buttons? (Ascension, 1998), co-author of Did Jesus Have a Last Name? (Ascension, 2005), and creator of the Friendly Defenders Catholic Flash Cards series. Matt is co-founder of several Catholic organizations, including CatholicExchange.com and Envoy magazine, and the creator, with Jeff Cavins, of the Amazing Grace series. Matt and his wife, Maryanne, live in Pennsylvania with their five sons.
Patti Maguire Armstrong worked in the fields of social work and public administration before staying home full-time to raise her children. As a freelance writer, Patti has written more than 400 articles for both secular and religious publications. She has authored the book Catholic Truths for Our Children (www.raisingcatholickids.com) as a guide to help parents pass on the Catholic faith to their children and served as co-editor of four Amazing Grace books. Patti and her husband, Mark, live in North Dakota with their ten children.
