About this ebook

A U.S. Marshal puts in an appearance in Pomme Valley, Oregon, searching for a fugitive rumored to be hiding in the area.

Meanwhile, getting ready to celebrate his milestone 40th birthday, Detective Vance Samuelson manages to convince his friends, Zack Anderson and Harry Watt, to join an adventure-seeking thrill club, the Dysfunctional Daredevils, in an effort to prove they're all still young at heart. And, as luck would have it, the US Marshal believes his missing fugitive just might be among the Daredevils, hiding in plain sight.

Can Zack and the dogs uncover the identity of the disguised murderer? Will any more accidents befall the hapless adrenaline junkies of Pomme Valley? Everyone's favorite canine mystery-solving duo, Sherlock and Watson are on the case!

Readers are loving this cozy mystery series with its two indomitable dog sleuths. Zack, Jillian and the corgis, Sherlock and Watson, are at it again in this delightful series that pulls you right in.

amateur-sleuth, cozy-mystery, family, friendship, law-enforcement, murder, murder-investigation, dogs, situational-humor, angst, verbal-humor, corgi***** If you've never met these two fun and furry crime solvers (Mr Sherlock and Ms Watson) and their widowed humans, you're missing a lot of fun! In this episode their friend and cop is first told to take a vacation because he as too much overtime, then he is askes by a US Marshall out of Texas to help him locate a deadly perp who is adept at disguising himself. This leads to the friends joining an adventure group just at the cop's 40th. Much sleuthing, danger, and hilarity ensue! The dogs win and so does any reader. All of the characters certainly are, and the sleuthing is well done. Loved it! Easily a stand alone, but why?. Bob Johnson aces the narration with just the right touch that highlights the humor by downplaying the guffaws. I won this audio in a giveaway!
