This is the first time I have read anything by Jen Gilroy. I think it could be read as a standalone. But I am going to go back and read the other books. I truly enjoyed this heartfelt, heartwarming, second chance story. I loved how the characters came together. The children are adorable. It kept my interest through out the story. It's well written. I truly enjoyed the storyline. I thought this book handled grief, lost very well. It's a wonderful sweet, clean romance. You will fall in love with the characters. I thought the whole story fit together nicely. I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours.
