Nicole's Book Musings
I really enjoyed this book. Being a baseball fan and going to Triple A games this book satisfied this romance and baseball loving reader. The hero Mike was perfect book boyfriend material. I'm partial to catchers so he already had a piece me won over, but after reading this book I don't know how he wouldn't win anyone over. There is a sad part in this one the I freely had tears running down my face and what the team did just has the tears flowing even more. Poor Donna I just felt for this character. She's trying everything she can do to win custody of her little boy. She loves that little guy with all her heart, but it just seems everything is out to block her path. Mike is in her life at the right moment to help her more than she realizes. I loved the flirty banter between the two. The humor in this one was one of my favorite things about the book. The heat between Mike and Donna is HOT! Mike sure has the moves. Another thing that I liked about this book is we get to see a little into how a minor league team operates behind the scenes. It's very interesting plus you have to throw in the small town vibe which just adds to it. Trouble a plenty in this one, but can love triumph over it?

A fun sexy read that will leave you with one word....More!! These Kilby Catfish players have a way of catching your eye and grabbing your heart and Mike Solo definitely does that. He certainly caught Donna McIntyre's eye but he's a complication she can't afford right now. In the fight of her life to get her son back, every step she takes has to be precise and planned. No way does Mike fit into her plan. Too bad he's not willing to accept that and calls for her inner bad girl to come out and play every chance he gets. The cost is too high though. You definitely want to read this wonderfully written story. I highly recommend it.

4 Stars Caught by You by Jennifer Bernard is a home run! Mike and Donna are a great team and their chemistry and witty banter had me laughing out loud throughout the book. Donna McIntyre has made some mistakes in her past but she is trying to change all that now in an effort to win custody of her son. She is used to fending for herself and has a hard time accepting help from others. So when Mike, the catcher for the Kilby Catfish offer help in the form of a "fake" marriage Donna is thrown for a loop. Donna assumes this "fake" marriage will be a small thing to help her keep her son but Mike has other plans. These two have serious chemistry and a habit of seeking out closets when things start to heat up! A fun, sexy and addictive read. I can't wait for more of this series! I received an eARC of this book from the publisher for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.
