Jennifer Bohnet's novel, Villa of Sun and Secrets, narrated by Julia Franklin, made an entertaining time of two rather long and very cold winter afternoons. The novel is not great literature but it is enjoyable and, whilst some of the secrets revealed were somewhat predictable, others catch the reader/listener unawares. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and the narrator does a fine job of all the accents. Recommended for fans of Veronica Henry and Trisha Ashley.
