NOT Nova! Nova (Richard Rider) went into the cancer-verse with the total power of the novaforce. Nova's powers NEVER came from the bloody helmet! Black Novas who's a$$ did they pull that moronic idea from!

This comic is exciting and engrossing because it makes Nova's powers and universe so cool. But it is significant because it tells an origin story that is doesn't follow the usual steps, choosing instead to make different story about a different kind of hero, one that you look forward to seeing grow.

Thought I wouldn't like the new Nova, being such a fan of the original Richard Rider but I really enjoyed this. Sam Alexander is cool.
