About this ebook

After spending a century fighting in a losing war against the most unstoppable force the galaxy has ever known; the confederacy is no more, and humanity is all but lost or enslaved. Keyanna, a shape-shifting organic nanite Rehuman Being and Naya, a Torrey 9 (high gravity world) born human, travel to Deslar, the godmaker world, the last stronghold of humanity.  In the past,  Deslar has endowed Keyanna with the  ability to temporarily travel thru time. On this occasion  Keyanna, a self proclaimed space pirate, born on the pirate ship The Twenty-Wun Stars, along with Naya, who like being the superhero off her home world, travel back in time to stop the war before it ever begins.

Over three thousand years after the final battle over the soul of mankind, between God, Satan, and Nefarious, destroys the earth, a new chapter begins. The resulting hyperspace blast from the earth’s destruction flings the last of humanity into the furthest reaches of space on their surviving starships. Over 300 years passes before these star cast seeds of mankind reclaim the stars, and begin to find each other. The first of the new worlds to find each other and reconnect old humanity on new worlds, would eventually form The Confederation of Republic Worlds. This union would be marked with the erection of the Jara Timekeeping Tower on Jara Prime, broadcasting a synced time throughout the known universe.

This is the Jara Era.

Keyanna lives in a world never before heard of by us, and she is a shapeshifter who can transform at will. The confederacy is fighting an unwinnable war. The war has been on for a century now, with the strongest and seemingly undefeatable force in the galaxy. Keyanna is a nanite Rehuman Being, and Naya is from a high gravity world called Torrey 9. Together these both head out on a journey, traveling through time and realms. They want to stop this never-ending war before it ever even begins. Our space pirate, Keyanna and Superhero Naya take us on a thrilling journey with them! The author has done a remarkable job weaving this plot together. And the best part is that the story does not just end here but has much more to it. The interconnecting subplots, taking us on journeys into the future world, 3000 years beyond. Far into the edges of the universe. In this adventurous sci-fi by Jerri O'Powell, we also get to read about a clash between Satan and God. In the Jara Era, things are severely divergent. From everything that we have seen or imagined in any other fantasy book series. The book is amazingly atmospheric and vibrant, which takes you on a visual experience of the events. The unique creative abilities of the characters are a plus! I love how author Jerri comes up with out-of-the-box ideas for world-building in all his book series. It's intriguing how he subtly connects all these storylines. This particular book is full of adventure and thrill as our characters cruise through time and space. This amalgamation of sci-fi and fantasy is worth reading for everyone who loves the genre. The best thing about the book is the characters and their uniqueness. They're light-hearted, but their lives are also meaningful in the most crucial ways.

About the author

...as long as I'm having fun!

I’m sure you have heard of writer's block; well I have writer's flood. Once that floodgate is open...well I'm at it's mercy. The story may be over on the page but the main characters' lives keep going in my head. For that matter one act, interesting characters who have backstories and lives that have to be filled in. It is a torment if I don't write it down. As a result I have a universe, 4000 years of history that starts in a time when the earth was NOT the alleged mythical birthplace of man (if you believe that kind of thing).
