About the author

Jessi Rodriguez Ohanesian, MS, PA-C is a practicing Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA). She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has published in JAAPA, including a "Day in the Life" article. At her current position she serves as a mentor and trainer for new PA's.
