Blackjack is Book 2 of the Manchester Chapter Untamed Sons MC series. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, enemies-to-lovers vibe, age-gap, surprise pregnancy, girl gets her biker dark romance. Elyse is a sweet 22 year old taking care of her 12 year old brother after their father left them with a gambling debt. Blackjack (Matt) is the hunky VP of the Manchester Chapter of the Untamed Sons MC. The two meet in a casino and are insanely attracted to one another. They share a hot night, but he catches her, trying to steal from him. He is so angry. He lets her go but says he will kill her if he sees her again. Elyse is being abused and sexually assaulted by the loan shark. After she passes out one night at work, she finds out she's pregnant. When her situation escalates, she and her brother run to Matt for help again. Will he turn her away again? This book kept me on the edge of my seat. There are a lot of darker themes as well as triggers for rape, sexual assault, and violence. But its so good

Robbing a biker may not be the best idea, but desperate measures come from desperate need, but a pregnancy was definitely not part of the plan. Elyse's father has gambled and list heavily, now repayment is being sought from her and it is not kindly taken. Matt may be a force to be reckoned with when crossed, but the little red head has taken up residence in his thoughts, but her rebukes her when she first comes to him for help. A story of lies, wrongs, hurt and harm, mistrust, care and protection and a thirst for revenge. The Untamed Sons always get the bad guys and the girl in the end. When Blackjack sees the woman he has just spent the night with sneaking out with his winnings he lets her know the consequences of him seeing her again. Elyse is desperate. Being hounded by a loan shark for a debt that is not hers and her young brother to look after she finds herself resorting to actions she would never have done. When one of those actions leaves her pregnant and the loan shark determined to have Elyse, by force if necessary, she knows she has to go to the father of her child and ask for help, help she is not sure he will give. Another great story by Jessica Ames. Loving this series. With lots of drama, suspense and intrigue, together with some.angst, you can't fail to be captivated by Blackjack and Elyse's story.
