Jessica Müller, geboren 1976 in München, verbrachte ihre Kindheit im Dachauer Land, wo auch der fiktive Ort Krindelsdorf liegt. Nach einem abgeschlossenen Übersetzerstudium folgten Auslandsaufenthalte in England und Irland. Derzeit lebt sie in Bonn und studiert Geschichte an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität.
