This was such a well informed book, I absolutely loved everything about the story i got lost in Jewels character she and Eli was so steamy I had to take quiet a few showers to cool down. Thank you so much Beverly Jenkins for being such a marvelous writer i love you always please keep doing what you do.

This is a great book. it's great reading black historical pieces that show black people in good light. Plus the book had a great romantic line and intrigue.
