$59.99 for six books that cost $9.99 separately. So the collection actually costs a few cents MORE than the individual books.
Further, these books have been in print for quite a while. There are many copies available in used book stores or Goodwill stores for as little as 50 cents a piece.
As is typical with ebooks, the publishing companies have gotten greedy. They take away rights we have always had with printed books (such as the right to second sale and the ability to loan/give books to others) and expect us to pay more for a lesser product. At the same time they are able to massively expand the selection of books on offer and remove entirely the costs associated with printing and moving physical books. Not to mention the costs related to the many books that are never sold and are instead, destroyed.
The Dresden Files series is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it. Just go to your local used book store or library to pick up these books.

Sure, the characters are mostly one dimensional stereotypes, and there's a bit too much "Harry gets saved at the last second by some totally improbable event", but the universe is well fleshed out and the stories are entertaining page turners.

Usually I'm all for getting bundles or collections of my favorite books, etc, but that is not the case with this particular bundle. It actually costs the same, or a little more to but the bundle conspired with getting the individual ebooks. In my opinion, this defeats the purpose of bundling.
