Volume 2 had A LOT of relationship development between the two lead AND-- dun Dun DUUN--- not going to spoil, but there is a LOT OF MYSTERIES/SECRETS UNRAVELLED. Yet at the same time many more still unanswered. Volume 2 was really good in terms of the various humour going around their relationship development. The drama and conflict is not as harsh as Virtuous Wife and Loving Mother, but I can definitely 'read' Jin Yuanbao's trait in the two lead. Another thing to love about this book is the family's domestic dynamic between the two lead and their child Mei Wei. Nothing beats a loving family who loves each other and their child the most.
