I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This book brought me to tears. So if you are a tender-hearted romantic like myself, have some tissues ready. This book had me riding an emotional roller-coaster of a ride. There were highs and lows along with twists and turns. It was a ride that shouldn't be missed. Quinn is a widower with a teenage daughter who is getting ready for college. Quinn's wife died 4 years ago. He gave up on pro-golfing to be with his dying wife and young daughter. He now runs the golf course at a local resort. Julie Brown, runs the resort where the golf course is located. Quinn and Julie fight like cats and dogs. Julie had a rough childhood and while she would like a relationship, she is wary of them. Throw in a teenager that wants to see her dad happy BUT at the same time gets angry with the thought of her dad forgetting her mom. Can this two come together? Will Quinn's daughter be the wrench to permanently divide these two? Can Quinn learn to love another woman? Can Julie find a love that will make her feel that she IS enough? Well you will have to read this wonderfully enchanting story to discover for yourself. This book is written in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into a character's thoughts really help me to identify and connect with them while understanding them in the different scenes. This story is very well written. It is also a sexy one with really not a lot of detail. It is easily can be overlooked if you don't like that in your stories. While this is a part of a series and prior characters do make multiple appearances, you don't have to read the prior ones to fully understand and enjoy this one.
