I enjoyed the first and last books. I couldn't get many pages into the second one. Referring to someone always being in heat didn't seem to fit with the other two books. Both books gave no hint as to "who dunnit" and both ended well. I will definitely look for additional books by these two authors.

Barbara Ross is the author of the Maine Clambake Mysteries and the Jane Darrowfield Mysteries.
