I've never read a book that changed my life but this book has changed everything along with the bible God Jesus and the Holy spirit in an addicted in recovery to know that someone can love you so much No matter what is a gift and I don't EVER want God to think I'm not grateful I now look forward to death in of course his timing and when I'm receiving my review I know that the first part will be rough but the end will be AMAZING GOD BLESS YOU JOHN BURKE so many thanks for writing this life changing book

Like other reviewers I was taken back by how much Christian doctrine was in this number 1 rated book on NDEs. I certainly wasn't expecting the book to be filled with more scripture references than NDEs. I feel the author does a good job with his intent to show his Christian views (interpretations) of the afterlife via NDEs but I feel he stretches very far and keeps things in the Christian dogma box. This in my opinion limits the book's potential but keeps it "safe" for the Christian community. I have issue with his one except of IANDS, author throwing their research out as bias/skewed. My own NDE, End of life, and psychedelic research show me a similar cosmic story of God's love but not as clear cut and dry as Christians and this book portray.
