A great intro to the genius best known for the epic poem "Paradise Lost". What mastery of language and form, with profound insights to communicate. For so many poets, it's not what they say but how they say it but with Milton he's got something to say and a great way to say it. Great way to work into his poetry at such a great price!
About the author
One of the greatest of English poets, John Milton (1608–74) is best known for his immortal epic, Paradise Lost. A prolific pamphleteer and polemicist, he is also a giant in the history of political thought and philosophy who opposed state-sponsored religion and championed liberty of conscience.
