I'm a Sandford fan. I used to work in Minneapolis city hall. I don't think the book is anti Semitic. It's Awad and his buddies who are portrayed as evil and a little goofy. And, the only obvious slam on the righties is a reference to their shoddy network, Fox News. Who can blame Camp for that comment? That said, I thought the whole theme was a little far fetched. It's an awfully long way from Mankato and St. Peter to the hills of Israel.

Awful, If you've ever read a John Sanford book you'll know right off that he did not write this. Looks like he taken a page from James Patterson and using his name in order to sell more books. I find this reprehensible. How so many peeps five starred this is beyond me. I've read all his Prey books and never been disappointed, this one however, I couldn't even finish, unbelievable he would put his name on such trash.

My mom was a flight attendant before she passed and she had found "Winter Prey" on a passengers seat and brought it home to me. Once I read that book, I couldn't get enough of John Sandford and his Prey novels. I do have some of the other novels because I am a John Sandford fan period and do collect his books. I was formerly into Steven King prior to reading that first prey novel. I love John Sandfords books and their the only ones that seem to keep me reading. A highly recommended author in my book!
