Could not put this down a beautiful story but made you think the characters were alive and reachable. Like many others left me sobbing. Reflecting on humanity and futility and waste of war and value of love and family.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Having read "Me before You", I looked forward to this book and was not disappointed. I was so immersed in Sophie's story when it switched to Liv's story I initially wanted to get back to Sophie but then Liv's story was equally absorbing. I read this book in 3 days, Jojo Moyes has an easy flow of writing and I was totally absorbed. I am looking forward to reading another book by her.

Fantastic book, couldn't wait till bedtime to read this. Hubby thought there was something up with me, cause I was going to bed early. :-). Loved it that much I've bought the sequel, and can't wait to start reading it. These are love storeys that 1minuet your giggling at and then your crying with sorrow. Wonderful read,,it plays with your heart. If your a soppy or a romantic it's a must., really good read
