About this ebook

Jim Thompson is broke, homeless, and alone.

One year ago he lived a comfortable life, with twenty-five years married to a woman he loved, twenty-three years at a good job, and a country home he built for retirement.

He is now fifty-four years old, lives in his truck, showers occasionally at a cheap gym, and eats the bargain meals at fast food places-if he is lucky. Unknown to him, his luck is about to change drastically.

Jim is being watched and evaluated for participation in a crucial mission; an assignment originating on someone else's world - with the capability of destroying ours.

There are tons of mistakes, simple spelling errors, even a word missing at one point. A few grammatical errors. They really aren't the problem though. It's just really cheesy. I stopped reading 1/3 of the way through.

About the author

Jonathan G. Meyer is a Midwestern author with a passion for Science Fiction. As the middle child in a family with seven children, he spent many hours alone. Traveling to new worlds, exploring alien ships, and adventures with robots became his escape.

With his love for SciFi in mind, he wrote Al Clark; the kind of book he remembers loving in his childhood. Good Old-Fashioned Science Fiction.

The success of Al Clark (Book One) prompted him to add to the series with books two, three and four, plus a short prequel called Christopher's Journal. In addition, he has published a standalone Alien Contact adventure titled 'Vincent', and one titled 'A Curious Orb'.
