Whippoorwill

I'D GIVE THIS 10 STARS IF I COULD. This book profoundly affected me. I am in tears writing this review. It will be the first review when my new blog website gets up and running. Workin' on it now. This is a true love story in every way. Author, Joseph Monninger is new to me. It has been years since any book affected me like "Whippoorwill". Read this to your children, gift it to friends, gift it to yourself. Mr. Monninger has my utmost respect for what he has done with this story. Dogs, you pass them by in yards, on the street, in shelters and never give them a thought. After reading this book, I will be sure to never pass or meet another dog without a thought. I will stop, question things in my mind, I will help when I can, I will care each and every time until the day I die. This book will make you happy, give warm fuzziness, make you feel hatred, anger and a deep sense of involvement with the nature around us. I dare you to read this amazing story and not be forever changed in how you see the world and your responsibility for those that are defenseless, be they people or animal. This is a 6 star book! The best book I have ever read! If you like realistic fiction, romance, and doggos, you will LOVE this book! I would 100% recommend buying this book! It is worth every cent! Once you get to the 5th chapter, it's impossible to put this book down. It's impossible to fathom that barley anybody knows about this book, or Joseph Monninger; the book's author! I won't spoil anything about this book. You're just going to have to read this for yourself! If you still are a little unsure about buying it, pick it up at your local library! Trust me, you won't regret it!

Loved it read it for a school book. Turned around and bought it here and now I read it once a month
