Four and a half stars Wrong Brother, Right Kiss by Joss Wood is the second in her Dynasties: DNA Dilemma miniseries from Harlequin Desire. Tinsley Ryder-White and Cody Gallant are tasked to work together on a number of high-profile events for Ryder Industries. Callum Ryder-White, Tinsley’s obstreperous grandfather, is a demanding, often unreasonable taskmaster, but Cody hasn’t built his successful event planning business by rolling over and playing dead. Tinsley and Cody have always not exactly been BFFs, starting years ago when she’d first starting dating Cody’s brother, JT. Though they’re now long divorced, that prickliness hasn’t quite evaporated. Joss Wood’s story is full of passionate emotion and twists and turns to keep readers hooked. I read this in one sitting, and found myself swept away by Tinsley and Cody’s pain and vulnerability, and ultimately their hard-won happiness. Can’t wait for more in this series!

What do you do when it turns out you dated and married the wrong brother! I really felt for Tinsley as she really was stuck with undeniable attraction to Cody, but he is her ex husbands brother ... talk about awkward! Thankfully they are pushed together so whether they like it or not their attraction has a chance to grow to the point it can't be ignored especially as they both deserve people who will love them and be there for them. You get plenty of emotions within this book and times where you want to shake sense into them as well as get frustrated, laugh, want to cry and see a HEA!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These two are like salmon swimming upstream with all the family baggage they’re packing around; it’s holding them back from where they’re desperately trying to get to. Tinsley’s internalized a particularly toxic strain of perfectionism and Cody never wants to relive the childhood where he was thrust into the position of ‘responsible adult’. In spite of all the things that should be keeping the pair apart, there’s a pull between them drawing them ever closer together. Can they unpack all that baggage in time, or will it drown them under the weight? They made me want to rip my hair out from the roots when everything got rocky, but when the stars aligned and Tinsley and Cody were on the same page they made me so incredibly happy. Now I’m more curious than ever to see what will happen when the Ryder-White secrets are revealed. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
