About this ebook

Just how far will this wealthy rancher go for his pregnant lover? From a USA Today–bestselling author who writes “wonderfully romantic, emotional stories” (Lori Foster, New York Times–bestselling author of The Honeymoon Cottage).

Their years apart haven’t diminished Nolan Elliott’s desire for Pepper Manning. Even knowing she’s pregnant with another man’s baby, the Texas rancher can’t stay away. He didn’t claim her when she needed him so long ago and the sting of losing her, and their child, still resonates.

With custody of her unborn baby now in jeopardy, Nolan vows to use his wealth and power to give Pepper everything she wants. That means proposing a marriage . . . in name only. But is that a vow the rancher stands any chance of keeping?

I just love a second chance romance. Nolan and Pepper are once again in the same town, different people then they used to be. Tragedy broke them apart, but now Pepper is in need of some help and Nolan wants to be the guy to do it. At what cost though? It's going dredge up past hurts and pain for both Nolan and Pepper, but maybe a new future as well. I liked both Nolan and Pepper. You can feel the history these two share and the emotions that it pulls from the characters. It's a journey of closure and healing. It also sets up for the next book and I can't wait for it!
