About this ebook

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia London delivers a sexy new contemporary western, where a lonesome rancher and a no-nonsense cowgirl learn that you don't choose who you fall for--love lassos you....

As the firstborn son, it's been drilled into Nick that he is the heir apparent to the Prince family empire. But cattle ranching has never been his true passion. Nick wants to be a pilot.  However, when his father dies, leaving Nick to clean up the mess, he knows he must do his duty before following his heart.

Charlotte Bailey can't believe that Nick is back to run the ranch. As the office manager, she knows it's her responsibility to help him. If only he wasn't so brooding and cranky--and so hot it's a wonder his chaps don't melt right off him. But when sparks fly between them, she's adamant about staying away from a cowboy on his way out the door.

Nick knows the ranch's pretty, smart, and capable office manager is off-limits, but he needs her. And working in such close proximity to Charlotte every day is making Nick crazy. She smells good, she looks good, she makes him laugh, but most of all she makes him want to stay....

Nick and Charlotte’s story is an emotional and moving tale in The Billionaire in Boots by Julia London, book three in The Princes of Texas series. Nick is the eldest Prince children whose wings were clipped with the death of their father. Unlike the twins who had the freedom to do what they wanted, Nick was forced to take over the management and operation of the ranch and clean up all the messes his father left behind. All Nick ever wanted to do was become a pilot and travel. As office manager Charlotte knows it’s her responsibility to help Nick but he’s been grumpy, sad, and brooding and she just wants to make him feel good. Nick knows that Charlotte is off-limits and Charlotte knows that Nick is not long-term material as he’s trying to leave but when these two work together the office steams up from the heat and electricity between them. I love the way Charlotte uses humor to make the situation easier between them. Her humor is hysterical and she definitely makes Nick laugh, even if she’s making him crazy. Nick is torn between wanting to stay to be with Charlotte and going to flight school. Knowing this responsible man, he will figure out a way to make it work; especially since these two belong together. Ms. London wrote a wonderful, emotional, humorous story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, lots of laughs, and charming characters giving Nick and Charlotte that chance at love, family and a future together. I highly recommend The Billionaire in Boots to other readers and look forward to reading the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Nick hated everything about ranching and huge responsibility of caring for the business. After his father's death realized how much debt was left behind. Nick knew, he had to make hard decisions to save the family business. Charlotte has been running Prince business for five years. She knew there was some problems. However, her and Nick had a troubling relationship and want sure they could work together to solve the problems. Nick knew he was going to have work with investors and take a

I think Nick is now my favorite Prince and his story with Charlotte is my favorite happily ever after. The book is well-written and flowed like an evening with friends. I was seriously caught up with all the fun banter between Nick and Charlotte and loved Charlotte's crazy family. Nice slow and steady build up to what ended up being a truly great happily ever after.
