A great tense plot to the end Well written and enjoyed. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

The danger continues for the fugitive heroes and in this book, the hero in focus is Dean Delgado, a man with a mission to stay alive. At least, that is his mission until his former lover Kate Sawyer is endangered. His mission instantly switches to keeping her safe, no matter the cost to his own life. He and Kate together face one dilemma after another, starting with the birth of a baby in vet Kate’s mobile office. The action was intense and intriguing, with characters that endeared themselves to me because of their determination and dedication to one another. The bad guy is related to Dean, making the story even more absorbing as I waited for the next shoe to drop from the traitor. I enjoyed the plot and especially the characters and their interactions. This series can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading all of them because they are so good!
