About the author
Ödön von Horváth nasceu na Croácia, em 1901. Estudou teatro e se estabeleceu como dramaturgo em Berlim, onde escrevia peças que satirizavam e criticavam tanto a história alemã quanto o momento sociopolítico em que vivia.
