About this ebook

Our life makes us go through  various kinds of experiences. Every situation narrates a tale and each relationship becomes a character in the story and makes its own contribution. Sometimes we see different characteristics of the same person. At times, he makes us laugh and at other moments, he causes immense pain.

These subtle feelings tickle us  sometimes and anguish us at others. The heart becomes restless during some moments and at others, gets completely absorbed in the thoughts of the beloved. At times, it gets drenched in the ambrosia of love and at others, it gets converted into the deadly poison 'Halahal' that has the ability to destroy the entire universe.

Whether it is nectar or poison, both of them require a vessel to contain them. In the same way, I have attempted to pour the liquids inside my heart into the containers of my poems. I have made an attempt to translate my innermost sensations into words and presented them for you. I hope that these dialogues of my heart will touch your heart and you will relate to them like your own personal experiences.
Maybe, the readers find some hindi words to be difficult to understand. And that might create a break in relishing the poems. Keeping that in mind, an English narrative has been provided along with every couplet

As I read the poem about your father and mother I relate to them completely...your language use is simple and direct...but vivid. The portrayal is sharp and reminds me to connect to my parents....value them for what they are....I will continue to read the rest, for sure.

About the author

Jyoti Malhotra has been offering her services in the field of education since many years. Her passion for  writing ignited at the age of 13 when her self-composed poem was displayed on the school board. She has always eloquently translated her deepest thoughts and emotions into language with ease. But it was only lately that she decided upon organising her writing and sharing it with readers through a publication.  She has already authored one academic text book and this anthology is her second publication.
The depth of Hindi language, mythological touch on contemporary issues, a succinctly meaningful choice of each word is depicted in her sensitive poems.
