5 star review of Trusting Gibson (Last Score #2) by K L Shandwick This is the second book in the series and takes up from where the previous book Gibson’s Legacy ended. If you haven’t read that book, then STOP as these books need to be read in order; this was as entertaining as the first one. From the first chapter I was invested in Trusting Gibson. Chloe Jenner is touring with her boyfriend Gibson Barclay, a rock star who is used to all the fame and what it entails, but Chloe is not. Can Chloe cope with being in the spotlight and the darkness it can bring? She is having enough trouble dealing with her past, worried that it will come back to haunt her. Can Gibson protect Chloe or is he destined to fail? Trusting Gibson is an emotional roller coaster of a read, passionate and surprising at times and I cannot wait to read more in this series.
