Teenage love is nascent, fragile and full of raw emotions. Neither should a whiff of air touch it nor should a ray of light fall on it. "Kacche mann ki kori preet" is a poetic depiction of unfathomable short lived love of a teenage girl who embraces the divinity of love, dances to the tune of ecstasy and gets drenched in shower of intense love and pain. Her love is such that even during pangs of pain her tears smile and her silence sings.

Sarita Gupta is a free-lance poet and a banker by profession. Her writings bear an amalgamation of love, passion, separation woes, motherly love and womanhood. Her simplistic and honest way of expression on the subject is bound to touch the cords of heart of the readers. "Kacche mann ki kori preet", a collection of 22 poems on adolescent love, is her debut publication.
