About the author

Anil Kumar is a retired banker and a full-time grandfather with a dream of becoming an acclaimed author. He was born and brought up in Neema, a village 20 km from Patna, Bihar. After obtaining a master's degree in Economics, he started working in a financial institution but literature was his first love. Fueled by a lifelong love for storytelling, he started writing short stories after his retirement. The subject matter for all the twenty-one stories compiled in his second book Kaju ki Barfi has been collected from the life of the people around us which can stir the emotions of a human being.
