Actually, it's more like 4.5 stars. I waited so long for this book! And the dang ending has me wondering if she got ice cream and chocolate or not!! So, personally, I've always wished Alex and Fallin could be an item. I know why they can't, I just wish they could. I just don't think Alex and Death are meant to be. Sure hope there are more books in the series cause I love these characters. Well, no - I HATE Briar, actually (but she IS well written). Too bad about Alex's eyes, too. 😢

The main character Alex, is a Wyrd witch with grave site powers(she can raise a shade, and talk to ghosts), she's part faerie and can weave reality, plus she's also a detective for the supernatural and works for the police on occasion, and she dates a grim reaper (she calls him Death). Great stories and characters! On to reading the next book in the series!
