It's been nice to be back with Kade's brothers and to catch up with him and Dinah, reading this story I've been able to get to know everyone better and to see there is more to them than I first thought. The way that Valery and Karter first met had to be one of the best "Oh my!" moments I have read in a while, there was certainly connection and chemistry between them! I liked getting to see what life was like for Kade and his family, the politics, stresses, family drama and the pain that they all hid. I wanted to hug Valery for all the pain she had been through, cheer her for her strength and hug his brothers for helping her work things out. It was really good to see how as a family they came together when needed, and I liked seeing who Valey and Karter were when they we together and happy. The Bear's Wandering Mate is Book 1 of the Fated Mates of Fortune Falls series. It's a short and steamy OTT, instalove, grumpy-sunshine, paranormal, fated mates, curvy girl gets her bear shifter romance. Valery is a young curvy girl taking a road trip after losing her parents in a car accident. Karter is a hunky, grumpy bear shifter who is the Alpha of his pack. When Valery's van breaks down, it is towed to a shop run by Kevin, Karter's father. When Karter first meets Valery, he knows she is his fated mate. She feels a pull, too. What happens when she learns Karter is a bear shifter? Will she stay or go? I love love loved this story. The chemistry between these two was pure fire, and the ending was super happy after a lot of drama. I hope we get books for all the siblings and that maybe even the dad gets a second chance mate!. Bear shifter, Karter is the alpha as his older brother joined the military. Valery is driving cross country looking to visit national parks in honor of her parents after losing them. Karter and Valery are fated mates. She’s human and isn't aware of shifters. Toss on Karter's hilarious younger triplet brothers to the mix. They caused me to laugh out loud. I enjoyed this read!
