About this eBook

The mega-bestselling novel that made Jeffrey Archer a star, Kane and Abel, “a sprawling blockbuster!”—Publishers Weekly

TWO STRANGERS BORN WORLDS APART. ONE DESTINY THAT WOULD DEFINE THEM BOTH...

William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski, one the son of a Boston millionaire, the other a penniless Polish immigrant—born on the same day near the turn of the century on opposite sides of the world—are brought together by fate and the quest of a dream.

Two men—ambitious, powerful, ruthless—are locked in a relentless struggle to build an empire, fueled by their all-consuming hatred. Over sixty years and three generations, through war, marriage, fortune, and disaster, Kane and Abel battle for the success and triumph that only one man can have.

“Archer is a master entertainer.”—Time

It is a very nice book. Five Stars from me for this book. I have read this book twice. Once when my boy friend (1992 we were not married) gave me to read, after he had done with it and second time during wedding anniversary (2010 after I lost my husband 13 years back, to blood caner). After reading the book in 1992, I had discarded it away and coincidently, I purchase the same on our wedding ann. day. Hence this book is very special for it carries very special memories for me. Though I did not purchase this book through this app, I have read it no less than 10 times over the last 15 years. The stories two main characters you will love, feel frustrated for, cheer on and want to visit again. Mr. Archer knows how to describe the inner feelings of his people. They live off the page. It is a great read. Enjoy.
