Great book with taboo romance and mystery. Standalone with a very minor cliffhanger, couple has HEA. I made the mistake of reading book 2 first but it really doesn't change my take on this series or this book. I like them both. Chloe has a mom who loves to get married. Its after her mom's latest divorce that she meets her stepbrother. Lets just say it a good thing their parents are divorced. Sparks fly! But they are both anti-love people. Parker wants her, even if everyone is against it.

This is the 1st book in the new Little Black Book trilogy and it features Parker and Chloe's story. Chloe has her own PR agency that she's focused on running her only focus is her career after seeing her mother go through multiple divorces. In fact that's how she first meets Parker when her mother sends her to retrieve some of her belongings from her soon to be ex husband and he has his son Parker handle the exchange. The sparks fly but Chloe is a no nonsense kind of girl and Parker is a playboy who doesn't think that her job's important. Until Parker needs Chloe to work her magic to fix his clients image because the Little Black Book surfaced. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this wonderful story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book. I haven’t read many books by Karen Booth, but those I have read, I’ve absolutely loved. The Problem with Playboys is centered around Chloe and Parker. Their parents are getting divorced, but they only meet right before the divorce is final. The chemistry between these two characters is smoking hot, even though Parker basically bad mouths Chloe’s job. Imagine his surprise when he needs her help with his high profile client, lol. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say if you’re looking for a steamy read with some angst thrown in, this will be an enjoyable read for you. I look forward to reading more of this author’s books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
