About this ebook

Holiday Baby Blessings

Convinced that Allison Ashworth deserves better, Sheriff Shane Timmons has always tried to remain aloof around his childhood companion. But with Allison in Gatlinburg for the holidays, insisting on caring for two motherless babies, Shane feels obliged to help her. How can he keep his distance when she and the children are quickly becoming the family he never dared to wish for?

As a girl, Allison was drawn to the wary yet handsome Shane, who never seemed to look her way. But in spending time with him and two sweet babies, she might yet find a chink in the confirmed bachelor's armor. Every shared moment gives Allison hope that this Christmas, her dreams of motherhood—and a life with Shane—may finally be coming true.

Actually 4.5 stars. This is part of the Smoky Mountain Matches series, this is a stand alone book, However if the rest of the books are as good as this one, I look forward to reading them all. I fell in love with the whole town. Sheriff Shane Timmons is a strong, opinionated, loving yet hurting man. He can't seem to put his past behind him. He likes to keep to hisself. However when the past come to town will he be able to keep his distance or is there more going on than he can distance himself from. Allison Ashworth has had her heart set on Shane for years, yet for some reason he remains distant. When her life is in for a major change will Shane finally be a part of that change or will she be able to put him in her past and move on. Allison is a loving, determined woman herself. I really enjoyed getting to know Shane, Allison and the whole town of Gatlinburg. The author does a great job at detail, dialogue and sticky situations. If you enjoy reading good, clean, christian, historical romance books you will love this one.
