I found this book very realistic, to the expierences of 6th graders and even 5th and 7th graders born in the 2000's I myself can see in this book, expeirences similar to my own during elementary in several different schools I went to when I was in those grades. I am in 10th grade right now, so I can still remember these things clearly. Excelent book, interesting and unique taking on the view not many authors do.
About the author
Karen Romano Young has written nearly two dozen books for children, and has illustrated several, including the groundbreaking graphic novel Doodlebug and its sequel Stuck in the Middle (of Middle School). She lives in Connecticut.
