Another brilliant book by Karin Slaughter. Complex, relatable characters and a well researched, compelling story line with the thrills and twists that Karin does so well. Could not put it down. 👍

Really enjoyed this trip back in time to an earlier era. I was barracking for Kate in her journey from innocent newby to gaining some sort of mastery, independence and acceptance.

Enjoyed. You can feel the tension and male/female divide and racial divide in the police force and on the streets at that time
