Fractured: A gripping crime thriller from the Sunday Times bestseller (Will Trent, Book 2)

'Suicide is the eighth leading cause for death in young men.' Fractured is Book 2 in the Will Trent series that's a crime mystery/thriller. I loved the overall structure of the central actors. Will is a dyslexic but a real expert investigator at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Faith, whose mom is suspended from the Atlanta Police Department, thanks to Will, is a detective for the same office & conditions lead to Will & Faith working unitedly. The author's intro to this book with the prologue & later sectioning it with events as per the number of days is really excellent. Intermingling character's past story with their existing situations causes one to doubt each & every personality throughout the novel. Oh & when the accused are out, it took me by surprise. I had to go back & forth to follow up with the connections that are announced at the following stages. Now that I have read this one (yea, it's my debut with Karin Slaughter & I am super late to the party, psst better late than never, right!), I desire to explore more of her works. She's an accomplished author who understands how to seize her reader's attention immediately from the very beginning. I would definitely suggest this work to all crime thriller fans.

Good read, am really liking this series. Can't help but like quirky Will Trent. Will definitely be reading the next book.

Amazing story line,first book i ever read in my life without having anyone forcing me. And i have to say it was worth every minute i spent on it. Am no book specialist but this book has stayed with me since i first read it in 2012 n its 2015 now. Thanks to the Author of this book for openning my mind to an adventure of mistery and thriller.
