As she starts to make headway with the homestead's restoration, and falls for a local bloke, Kate finally feels like life is going right for her. Then her ex-husband comes to town and triggers a series of events that will change her life forever .

This book I stumbled apon by chance and am so glad I did. I hadn't read much in the past 5 years since finishing school, but this I could hardly put down. I began reading around 7pm thinking it would be a good way to go off to sleep. Very naive I was as it didn't get put down until around 1:30am when I finished it! I fell in love with the setting and the characters very early on and really wish there was a sequel. Can't wait to get to the bookstore to purchase all the other titles this fantastic author has penned. Rekindled my love of a great story adn reading in general :)
