Everything Xander does seems to set Elen off and he is at his witts end while Elen is so over being in such a controlled environment after years on her own and in hiding. I loved the dynamic between Elen and Xander and I get where both of them are coming from and Elen's need to for time out. We get to meet some awesome people and learn about Elen's time before coming back home and then when Xander and Elen get alone and away from everything and everyone truths come out and the attraction finally comes out. Bit its not all alpha men and sassy women Erik still has threats and people who want them all to fail which leads to danger, kidnapping and the worry that a new romance will be over before it has had a chance!
