'Dalton' is book four in Kathi S. Barton's "The McCade Dragon" and if you've been following this series as I have been then I know you have to be as vested into this storyline as well. Dalton has heard the dragon Caelin speak to him so he knows his mate is coming. But when Caelin tries to tell Dalton her name, Dalton refuses to hear it. He wants things to just come as they're supposed to. LOL, he's so not ready!! Dr. Gabriella Nola, aka Gabe, has applied for an opening in Dr. Kenton McCade's office. She had previously worked at a hospital in the ER but when the director kept it understaffed giving her 90-hour weeks because he was too cheap to hire and payout the money, Gabe turned in and worked her notice and left. That didn't seem to stop him from continuing to call and harass her about the bind she left the hospital in. So much is going on with more and more details of the past is remembered and shared with the brothers and their mates. The new piece of jewelry has provided additional powers and help when needed. Truthfully, I about fell over when I found out who was financing the Dragon Haters and who was helping. That hadn't even crossed my mind until I read it. We're coming close to the conclusion and I hope Lewis' mate is ready.
